A pilgrimage with depth

The Himalayan journey is a pilgrimage to the roots of the Ancient Indian Divine Knowledge — from Shirdi and Rishikesh to the high Shiva temples of Kedarnath and Badrinath. It is an encounter with your own soul, consciousness and lifeforce energy.

“The Himalayas, Shirdi, Penukonda, Tirupati, Kalahasti, Varanasi, Arunachala… certain places are high, holy places. As soon as you arrive there, your soul receives amazing energy. The energy exists there for several thousand years.”

— Sri Kaleshwar

The pilgrimage route

Experience a transformative journey through Shirdi, Rishikesh, Badrinath, Kedarnath and the auspicious Panch Prayags.

The journey is designed for spiritual aspirants and meditators seeking deeper connection through sacred places, shared practice and time in nature.

Shirdi

Our journey begins at the maha samadhi of Shirdi Sai Baba, one of India’s most beloved saints. We take his blessings and feel the extraordinary devotion that fills this town before turning north toward the mountains.

Rishikesh & Haridwar

Enter the Himalayas through Rishikesh, the ancient gateway where the Ganges leaves the mountains. We spend time by the sacred river, join the evening Ganga aarti, and prepare body and spirit for the ascent ahead.

Devprayag

At Devprayag we visit the holy confluence where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers meet to become the Ganges — one of the Panch Prayags, the five sacred confluences, and a place of deep purification.

Kedarnath

We ride mules up to Kedarnath, one of the twelve jyotirlingams and among the highest Shiva temples in India. Set against snow peaks above 11,000 feet, its energy has drawn pilgrims and yogis for thousands of years.

Tungnath

Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world, part of the Panch Kedar. The path winds up through alpine meadows, and the darshan at the summit — with the Himalayas all around — is unforgettable.

Badrinath

Our pilgrimage culminates at Badrinath, the sacred abode of Vishnu high in the mountains. Nearby are caves where the Ancient Masters and Saptarishis are said to have meditated — a fitting close to a journey on the path of the masters.

What makes these journeys different

These are not tours. They are a deep dive into the sacred — and an encounter with your own soul, consciousness and lifeforce energy.

Sacred power spots

Every place we visit is a high, holy power spot. As Sri Kaleshwar taught, “As soon as you arrive there, your soul receives amazing energy” — energy that has existed for thousands of years.

Powerful group energy

Group circles, satsangs and meditations are at the heart of every journey. A powerful groupism is created that offers a deeper, richer experience for everyone — and friendships that last for years.

Personal mantras & guidance

Lora gives special mantras to connect with the cosmic energy of each place, and works with the soul energies of the group to draw the highest healing channels for every participant.

Small groups, real attention

Journeys are kept small to medium in size, so every participant receives personal attention and a greater opportunity for genuine Divine experience.

Your guide: Lora Stone

Lora Stone has been leading Journeys to Sacred India for the past 10 years. She is a Senior student and teacher of the Ancient Indian Divine Knowledge, and spent over a decade living and studying in Penukonda, South India, in direct training with Sri Kaleshwar (1973–2012) — one of India’s most celebrated modern saints.

Sri Kaleshwar taught his students the laws of Creation and performed all the miracles that Jesus did, teaching his students to do the same. Lora has had numerous darshans with the Divine Mother and many, many miracle experiences. With unity, open hearts and the right channels, she teaches, all miracles are possible.

On every journey, Lora works with the soul energies of the group to help pull the highest healing channels for each participant. She gives special mantras to connect with the cosmic energy particular to each sacred place we visit. Her groups are kept small to medium in size, so everyone receives personal attention — and a greater opportunity for genuine Divine experience.

Beyond the journeys, Lora works as a trauma healer, soul healer, spiritual coach and teacher, both online and in San Rafael, Marin County, where she resides. She holds regular Full and New Moon fire ceremonies — all are welcome.

When she leads a pilgrimage, she brings the knowledge of a practitioner and the care of a friend, creating a safe and loving container where real transformation can happen naturally. The connections formed tend to last long after the journey ends — many participants return again and again, and stay in touch for years.
